Peace and relaxation at La Palma, the nicest island of the canariesNot without any reason has La Palma, also called „Switzerland of the Canaries", been chosen to be one of the three nicest islands of the world in a worldwide competition by an international jury in 1983. According to the unanimous opinion of our widely traveled guests La Palma is a real pearl within the so broad touristic offers of today and a vacation especially for individualistic personalities.
If you want to avoid mass tourism and prefer to find peace and relaxation in the calmness of overwhelming nature, La Palma is the perfect place for a vacation. This is also acknowledged by our guests, who almost without exception fall in love with the island and come back for vacation repeatedly. Several of them have finally settled down „on their island" for good, not least also because of the free and easy way of life of the inhabitants, who meet them with genuine friendliness and hospitality.
If, in the field of tourism, many a slogan may appear well- worn, none of the currently accepted superlatives concerning La Palma has lost anything of its truth (fulness), for the facts exist (really). Above all the great variety of the beauty of the landscape: lush vegetation, vast pine forests, bizarre formations of lava, globally (worldwide) the highest elevation (2426 metres) on the smallest ground surface (728 qu.km), the largest subsidence crater of the world with a diameter of 9 kilometres, many extraordinary attractive possibilities of walking and bathing at many often secluded small beaches- and all this from January to December.
According to the opinion of our guests, among which most of them periodically come back over and over and belong to our permanent clients, our resort does not only do credit to its name (beautiful view), but is also one of the nicest and best resorts of La Palma and the whole Canaries.
On the east coast, approximately 300 meter outside the small village of San José about 280 meter above the sea, the enchanting location in heavenly peace offers a magnificent panaroma from the balcony or terrace of the mountains, the sea and the capitol Santa Cruz.
The beach Los Cancajos or the town Santa Cruz are only a few minutes away by car, restaurants and a supermarket can be found within a few walking minutes.
The only nine apartments are located within two separate two-story typical Canarian complexes which are in harmony with the surroundings. The Castilian style apartments are all furnished on a generous scale.
All apartments are furnished with heaters in the living room and bathroom, a coffee machine, toaster and rental safes. The vacancies are cleaned and bedclothes are changed once a week, and the towels twice a week. Our baker delivers fresh rolls to the apartments daily (except on sundays and holidays). We can organize a rental car upon arrival at the airport or a car can be brought to the apartments. After your departure the rented vehicles can be left at the complex or at the airport. In our large, well tended public garden you will find a swimming pool (6 by 12 meters) with a sun terrace, lounge chairs and sunshades, table tennis, a small playground and as climax a tennis court with flex plating. Next to it, you will find a nice pavillon, a barbecue hut and a scenic terrace.
